I am Karien Brienen and I have loved exploring and traveling as long as I can remember. My explorations began in South Africa and eventually brought me to the United States, where I currently reside with my loving husband and son. I have had many neighbors throughout my life, but living next to Mickey Mouse has got to be the best one yet!

My love for travel has been engrained in my way of life ever since my first trip to the beach in Cape Town, South Africa. Ever since that day, I have been checking off more and more beaches from my bucket list in countries all around the globe. A beach in California versus a beach in Greece has inherit differences, but one commonality that stretches across all languages is the happiness experienced when listening to the sound of waves crashing along the coast, while your toes kick up soft white sand.

Although the goal of nearly every vacation is to accomplish this sense of pure relaxation, often times working out the logistics of a trip, particularly when visiting a new location, can cause unparalleled amounts of stress.
